Terry Vickers
Managing Director

Terry Vickers is a distinguished aviation professional with over 45 years of national and international experience in aircrew operations, consulting, and management. His career began in the metals industry as an inorganic and analytical chemist before transitioning into aviation, where he has since made significant contributions across multiple domains.

As the founder and leader of several successful aviation enterprises, Terry maintains strategic interests in key Australian aviation operations, including Premier. He has played a pivotal role in regulatory compliance and Air Operator Certification for organizations in Australia and abroad, including the launch of a 180-minute EDTO (ETOPS) airliner operation in Australia.

A former Director of the Aviation Safety Foundation of Australia (ASFA), Terry is highly regarded for his expertise in establishing high-quality operational and engineering enterprises. He was previously approved by CASA to conduct simulator evaluations and fidelity accreditations, and his global consulting portfolio includes major airline restructuring projects and aviation safety initiatives in developing countries.

Terry has held numerous leadership positions, including Chief Pilot and Director of Operations for high-capacity aircraft operations. As a seasoned Multi-Crew Captain, he brings extensive check and training experience on Boeing and Airbus aircraft, as well as executive corporate jets. He holds an Air Transport Pilot License with an Instrument Rating and a Commercial Helicopter Pilot License, both for over 40 years.

His regulatory credentials include serving as a CASA-approved Authorised Testing Officer (ATO), Check Pilot for Boeing and Airbus, and simulator examiner. He has completed TRI/TRE training with Airbus and has held instructor and examiner approvals for various aircraft, including the Airbus A320 series and CASA 212. Additionally, he has been approved as an Instrument Rating Instructor and Examiner.

Terry’s operational experience extends across the globe, including the establishment of high-capacity aircraft operations into Antarctica. His deep understanding of aviation environments, particularly in complex and remote regions, sets him apart as an industry leader.

Beyond his operational expertise, Terry has successfully led and secured high-value government aviation tenders, demonstrating his mastery of regulatory and commercial requirements. His extensive network of accomplished professionals ensures that every aspect of a project—whether operational, regulatory, engineering, or financial—is managed by industry experts, allowing for seamless execution and long-term success.

Holding an MBA from Melbourne University, Terry has a proven track record in establishing, developing, and managing aviation enterprises. He played a key role in the creation and growth of Premier Airlines, National Jet and National Jet Systems, Flight Simulators International, and Kestrel Aviation. He was also instrumental in transitioning Skytraders into an operational airline.

With his hands-on experience, deep industry knowledge, and a highly skilled team around him, Terry consistently delivers outstanding results in every aviation endeavour.
